Description

Deliciously crispy air fryer stuffed pickles filled with a creamy blend of cream cheese, ranch seasoning, and shredded cheddar cheese. This easy appetizer is perfect for a quick snack or party bite with a gooey, cheesy center and a crunchy pickle exterior.

Ingredients

Scale

Filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tbsp ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Pickles

  • 6 large whole pickles, halved lengthwise and hollowed out

Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, ranch seasoning mix, and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
  2. Hollow out the pickles: Slice each pickle in half lengthwise, then use a spoon or small scoop to carefully remove the centers, creating enough space to hold the filling without breaking through the skin.
  3. Stuff the pickles: Spoon the creamy cheese mixture into each hollowed pickle half, pressing lightly to pack the filling evenly and fully.
  4. Air fry the stuffed pickles: Place the stuffed pickles in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook for 8 minutes until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and starting to brown slightly.

Notes

  • Use firm pickles to prevent them from breaking apart during stuffing and cooking.
  • Adjust the amount of ranch seasoning to taste if you prefer a milder or stronger flavor.
  • Serve immediately for the best crispy-cheesy texture as the filling may become firmer once cooled.
  • You can add cooked bacon bits to the filling for an extra savory boost.
